Debra Julius has in-depth knowledge of the managed care industry having worked as a care coordinator with a private insurance company. Her experience as a psychiatric nurse for over 35 years for a local mental health hospital gives her a passion to advocate for persons with mental health issues. She currently works as an adjunct nursing professor at Pellissippi State Community College and volunteers with area organizations to share her knowledge and skills as a nurse. Ms. Julius is an active member of Trinity Tabernacle Church of God in Christ where she is the Faith Community Nurse and serves on the Usher Board.

Mrs. Blackman has been a nurse and educator in several healthcare settings and has served as a consultant for corporate and private organizations. She is the owner of Health Spectrum Worksite Solutions (HSWS), a health and safety business. She remains involved with the People Empowering People Project (PEPP) where she continues to fulfill her purpose of building a culture of wellness and spiritual well-being within the community. She is the author of DIET & LIVE, a way to live life from the inside out. Mrs. Blackman is an active member of Payne Avenue Baptist Church of Knoxville and serves in the Health and Wellness Ministry.

years. She worked on the Medical/Surgical Floor for St. Mary’s
Hospital for 25 years and went on to become Head Nurse on the
Orthopedic Floor and Dialysis Unit at Mary Magdalene Hospital
in Newport News, Virginia. Janice finished her career as a Knox
